Additional Three Picture Deal with Access Motion Pictures Rounds Out Roster TORONTO, ON (January 29, 2008) – Cinesavvy, Inc, the new Toronto based film sales company, is set to make its market debut at EFM from February 5 to 15, 2008 with exclusive first footage from the Robert Townsend directed biopic Phantom Punch, in addition to three other titles. “We are proud to be able to offer interested parties a sneak peak at Phantom Punch. Robert has brought Sonny Liston’s hauntingly tragic life and death to the screen in a distinct visual style that evokes the mood of the period, from sultry jazz bars to gritty jail cells to Las Vegas boxing spectaculars,” enthuses Cinesavvy Managing Director Abhi Rastogi. Heading a talented ensemble cast which includes David Proval, Nick Turturro and Bridget Wilson-Sampras, Golden Globe® Winner Ving Rhames (Don King: Only in America) gives the performance of his career as the troubled and controversial former world heavyweight boxing champ. More than a boxing film, Phantom Punch gives equal attention to Liston’s relationships with his wife (Stacey Dash), his manager (Turturro) and his lover (Wilson-Sampras), and also documents his run ins with the mob, racism and the law. In addition to Phantom Punch, Cinesavvy is proud to announce a three picture deal with Access Motion Pictures to handle worldwide sales for the horror comedy Bollywood Zombie, the supernatural thriller Garden of Earthly Delights and psychological thriller Cell 213, all of which are currently in pre-production.
